What is included in the price?
This depends on each specific event. Overnighters includes lodging, meals, and projects. Most of your supplies are provided for projects, with the exception of adhesive and your favorite basic crafting supplies. Not included in your tuition: extra snacks or drinks, and additional logo wear. Workshops include table space, a project or two and possible a meal - just depends on the event.
Who can attend?
Retreats and Workshops are for anyone who loves to create. We bring you great ideas along with learning a variety of creative techniques.
What skill level are the classes?
We have a variety of students at all levels. The classes will aim for an intermediate to advanced student, but as long as you are comfortable with basic papercrafting skills, and you are open to learn new things, you are welcome at ArtisticU!
Is this a Close to My Heart event?
This event is not sponsored by or connected with Close to My Heart Corporate offices. But, we are Independent CTMH consultants brimming with ideas and inspiration for sharing and teaching to any and all. We welcome anyone to join our events.
What are the Creative Classes?
Creative Classes are hands-on classes taught by a hand-picked team of amazingly talented people. There will be a variety of classes (depending on event) from scrapbooking, card making to home decor or digital scrapbooking. You receive all the products needed to make the project in each of the classes (students must bring their own adhesive and personal basic crafting supplies).
What supplies do I need to bring?
You will always need to bring plenty of adhesive of your choice. At some events adhesive will be available for purchase along with some other basis supplies. Main supplies needed for classes/projects are provided. We will post a basic supply list before events if needed. You will want to bring any additional supplies for your own personal crafting during free time.
How much free time will I have?
Plenty! You will want to take advantage of the peaceful surroundings to give your mind and soul a breath of fresh air.
What will the roads/weather be like?
It all depends where the event is and what time of year. We hope there will be no snow, but there is always chance with Utah weather. Watch for updates. There is NO REFUND due to weather/snow.

Are pets, children or spouses allowed?
No pets are allowed. We would prefer that babies not attend in respect for other patrons. Spouses.....really? The events are only for registered students of ArtisticU, age 16 and older.
